Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our office operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning. Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence with insureds
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members
- Efficiently quote new business
- Provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred (Will need to get licensed in Property, Casualty, Health, and Life- if not already licensed)
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Customer service experience is preferred
