Your Future Team
We are looking for a successful Accounts Receivable Specialist. You will be in a team of four and reporting directly to the Revenue Accounting Manager. This group is a sub-team within the larger Controllership function that has over twenty individuals and is part of the larger finance department's organization. You are coachable, have the willingness to learn, and perform at a high level under variable workloads within the revenue team. What You'll Do

• Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements - Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E. Experience, Commitment and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter

• Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)

• Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience

• Prepare detailed monthly bank reconciliations and custodian reconciliations in Oracle
• Monitor and analyze Accounts Receivable invoices by maintaining a close relationship with the billing team and advisor community
• Prepare adjusting month-end journal entries related to cash, revenue, and cost of revenue for multiple advisory teams within the company
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Review and resolve advisor teams' financial-related inquiries

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Qualities: Technical and analytical skills
• Proficiencies:
  • Required - Excel (specifically VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Data Sorting)
  • Preferred - Oracle Cloud, Smart View
