Accounts Receivable Specialist

Brilliant Financial Staffinghas been engaged in the search for an Accounts Receivable Specialistfor one of our clients in the manufacturing industry, located in Naperville, IL. Our client is a well-established provider of high quality sporting gear and equipment. The organization recently had an individual inform them that they will be retiring, which has now created a vacancy on their team. The Accounts Receivable Specialistwill be responsible for performing cash application functions, performing collections, handling chargebacks, and reviewing write offs. The Accounts Receivable Specialistwill be hired on a contract to permanent basis and would be required to be onsite everyday. Qualified candidates will be considered immediately and start asap!
Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Receive payments an apply to appropriate accounts
• Perform collection on past due accounts
• Process returns to customers
• Maintain and update customer accounts
• Process credit/debit memos
• Send out customer statements
• Research and resolve account discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• System savvy
• Strong attention to detail
