Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders, invoices, purchase receipts, and all other back up for each invoice
• Pay invoices in a timely manner
• Maintain federal ID numbers for year-end reporting of 1099's
• Reconciles monthly A/P statements and related transactions
• Monitor discount opportunities by vendor
• Analyze invoice/expense reports to determine correct cost codes
• Manage and maintain vendor accounts in the Accounts Payable system
• Work closely with Operations team to resolve any outstanding issues

Experience

• 2+ years in accounting or finance function with degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required. Experience with Esker would be considered a plus.

Education Requirements

• Recognized degree in accounting or business or commensurate work experience performing work related duties.

• General office tasks
