Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This individual will work under the supervision of Accounting Manager and play a crucial role in managing our Accounts Payable processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely using CORE accounting software.
• Perform reconciliations of Accounts Payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable, including invoice receipt, validation, approval, and payment processing.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Assist in analyzing expenses, preparing reports, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of Accounts Payable transactions.
• Other accounting roles and functions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or related financial role is essential.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably experience with CORE or the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
