POSITION OVERVIEW:
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Verify invoice details such as prices, quantities, and terms of payment.
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment inquiries or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable transactions.
- Prepare and process payments through various methods such as checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Monitor Accounts Payable aging and prioritize payments accordingly.
- Assist with month-end closing processes related to Accounts Payable.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to Accounts Payable as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
- Act as back up support when AP Manager is out of office.
- Other tasks as assigned by TAS.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
- H.S. diploma or GED equivalent with relevant work experience
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- 5+ years of experience with automated accounting systems
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Previous experience with 2 and 3-way purchase order matching
- Tier 1 ERP experience with Infor OR SAP (No QuickBooks)
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
