Scheduling & Intake Coordinator

Assisting Hands Home Care, the leading home care provider in Polk County, is seeking an outgoing and confident Scheduling & Intake Coordinator who is professionally persuasive, good natured, and detail oriented. Your primary responsibilities will include answering phones, conducting thorough phone intakes to assess clients' needs, scheduling in-person intakes with our care managers, and actively assisting the scheduling team in assigning caregivers for clients. This multifaceted role requires a keen attention to detail, friendly and engaging communication skills, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the overall quality of care provided to our clients.
The ideal candidate for this position:

• At least 2 years experience working in home care or in a scheduling / office administration position
• Enjoys working with a variety of people and personality types
• Empathetic to the needs of our caregivers and clients
• Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast paced environment
• Can handle shifting priorities while working independently
• Fulfilled by helping seniors remain healthy and independent at home
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfortable working within scheduling software

Regular office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
