- Require three (3) to five (5) years of recent administrative experience (prior hospital experience preferred, i.e., unit secretary, monitor technician, scheduling coordinator or call center environment).
- Require an associate degree in related field, bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant years of experience can be considered on a year-for-year basis, or current enrollment in an accredited degree program can be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
- Prefer proficiency in basic typing and data entry skills.
- Prefer demonstrated expert customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Prefer strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks.
- Prefer strong communication skills for interactions with physicians, office staff, and interdepartmental areas.
