RN or LVN - Director of Staff Development - Northern California

.What You Will Be Doing:

• Executive DSD position that covers 12 SNF locations in Northern California
• Provide orientation, educational and learning opportunities within a supportive environment
• Provide knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties involved in the care of residents
• Direct the infection prevention and control program and its activities
• Execute physician orders; provide nursing support, utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Communicate results of laboratory and other diagnostic testing to physician; evaluate signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition
• Ensure care and safety of patients

What You’ll Bring:

• 3+ years' experience in a corporate or regional DSD role
• Current RN or LVN license in the state of CA
• Certification as DSD by California Department of Public Health
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
