Associate, Subcontracts Administration
Job Description:
The Associate, Subcontracts Administration is responsible for working with our operations teams to onboard and prequalify subcontractor partners across our nationwide operations. The Subcontract Associate is a member of HITT's Legal & Compliance team and collaborates routinely with other stakeholders such as operations and accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, high-performing, and has strong customer service skills.
Responsibilites
- Support operations to facilitate efficient prequalification and onboarding of trade contractor partners
- Act as point-of-contact to subcontractors for onboarding, including prequalification and subcontracts
- Facilitate negotiations with subcontractors on master terms and conditions
- Serve as system administrator for Contract Lifecycle Management platform
- Work on implementation, rollout and maintenance of Contract Lifecycle Management platform.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze subcontractor data and develop standard reporting
- Payment and performance bond management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in a professional office environment; risk management, contracts administration or construction operations experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) field is desirable, but not required.
- Willingness to learn key contractual terms and conditions related to subcontractors and insurance
- Confidence in collaborating with internal teams and third parties (subcontractors)
- Ability to prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple hard deadlines and long-term projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
- Proficiency in DocuSign CLM & E-Signature is desirable, but not required.
