Oral Surgery Appointment Scheduler

Summary

The office of Capodice, Efaw, Ocheltree & Elger are looking for a full-time surgery scheduler to join our team. A successful candidate would have a few years of scheduling experience, highly professional, have previous medical or dental experience, have excellent communication, computer and phone skills. This is an extremely fast-paced job with a lot of multi-tasking. The job is Monday-Friday, no weekends.

As Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons we are committed to providing comprehensive services to our patients with emphasis on state-of-the-art treatment methods and a focus on patient comfort. We strive to maintain a professional environment and to service our patients in a courteous manner.

We are looking for applicants to fulfill the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Answers 90% of the incoming calls to the practice and either responds to inquiries or directs caller to appropriate staff.

Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computer

Handles scanning emailed or faxed referrals for the entire office

Telephones patients to remind them of appointments.

Assists with other medical office needs not limited to registering patients and receiving payments for services provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
