Company Overview: We are a well-established and highly respected automotive repair and maintenance facility looking for a highly motivated and customer service-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. Job Description: As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients. You will be responsible for greeting customers, scheduling appointments, providing vehicle assessments, preparing service estimates, and explaining repair recommendations. You will also be responsible for coordinating with our technicians to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document them
- Schedule appointments and assign work orders to technicians
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare service estimates
- Communicate repair recommendations and provide quotes to customers
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records
- Manage customer expectations regarding repair timelines and costs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repair work
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and professionalism
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to be trained and/or have experience as a Service Advisor or in a related customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer software and technology, including MS Office and willingness to learn automotive repair software such as Mitchell, Audatex, CCC, Repair Logic, Aldata, Identifix etc.
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Professional demeanor and appearance
