Job Description
Lead and manage a team of approximately 8 FTEs for a project with 3 task areas: O&M Support, Solution Architecture support, and enhancing the Data Warehouse.
Manage transition-in activities to transfer expert knowledge, data, and artifacts from the incumbent contractor.
Adhere to industry standard Agile Project Management and development framework.
Ensure effective communication with the client.
Create & maintain:
Project Management Plan
Project Schedule in conjunction with other client business application teams
Communication Plan
Define and implement quality planning.
Define project scope, goals, and objectives.
Identify stakeholders and establish communication channels.
Alert the client to potential contractual issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Deliver required status reports/briefings on client’s schedule.
Responsible for all deliverables.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
Be aware of the big picture and offer critical bi-directional communication and coordination between the various client teams, the Contracting Officer, the i360 team, and i360 management.
Oversee incident triage, ensure proper escalations, and facilitate efficient incident management.
Qualifications
Experience developing relationships, partnering with the client and mining the program for additional task orders.
Experience managing OM&E teams for federal agencies.
Experience with projects involving data warehouse/BI.
Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in driving process improvements, implementing service desk tools, and optimizing service delivery workflows.
Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.
Federal agency business intelligence background.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
6 years of professional project management experience.
Comfortable in technology environments and enthusiastic for learning new technologies.
SAFe Agile experience is a plus.
Agile certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agile, are a plus.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
