Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee the daily operations of our office. The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the office and financial duties. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in office management.
Duties:
- Reconcile bank statements, handling of the accounts payable/accounts receiveable, daily bank deposits. Create sales order, purchase orders and invoicing in QuickBooks.
- Oversee weekly payroll processes and handle all human resource related activities
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in office management software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Experience with financial reporting
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is required
- Must be able to work in a small manufacturing shop atmosphere
