DESCRIPTION
Outpatient Office Manager - Salary range from $21.00 to $26.00/hour
Full Time 40 hours
Primary Responsibilities:
- Office Manager to oversee front desk and registration staff of busy Outpatient Department.
- Responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive working environment in the ambulatory care office and for performing the admission process for all ambulatory care patients.
- Provides management oversight for the registration and scheduling process to facilitate the collection of accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
Prerequisites:
- Associates degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance practices for billing including Medicare, MassHealth, and all HMO’s.
- Knowledge of growth and development across the life span.
