- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate appointments
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including data entry, filing, and faxing
- Handle Front Desk duties such as checking patients in/out, verifying insurance information, and collecting payments
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
- Utilize medical software systems DrChrono for documentation and record keeping
```Requirements```
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines for maintaining patient privacy
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
