Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

San Luis Dermatology is a locally owned and operated practice with an excellent reputation throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. We are currently seeking a full-time Front Office Receptionist to join our team. One year of experience is preferred, but we may be interested in training the right candidate.

The right candidate must be able to comfortably answer phones and assist patients with their scheduling and medical needs. This candidate should have good communication skills and be able to work independently and as a team. This candidate must be customer service-oriented and maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Reliability and punctuality are a must. This position requires basic computer skills to successfully use our multiple systems to handle all patient transactions (PM, EMR, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook 365.)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical office preferred
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform several tasks with ease and professionalism (Multi-task)
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
