Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist at our busy Pediatric Doctor's Office in Encino to be a member of our team.

Part Time / Hourly Pay / Mon - Thurs / 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Tasks: Schedule Patients Manage schedules, Check in Patients, Check out Patients, Submit authorizations, Verify Insurance & collect co-pays, Screen faxes, Process medical insurance forms, Answer busy multi-line phone in a courteous and efficient manner, Help manage inventory effectively, Assist with day-to-day operations, Work closely with the Doctors, Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, Knowledge of medical practice protocols, Knowledge of medical terminology, Multitasking abilities, Ability to function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, Excellent computer skills required, Proficient in Microsoft office, Ability to work from home and follow instructions virtually.

Must be Bilingual in Spanish/English

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Medical office experience preferred but not required, College degree preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
