As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will work with more senior Human Resources professionals to support various policies, programs and processes. You will help managers and employees with general HR questions, and you will provide general administrative support to the HR team, including research and reporting needs.
This position is based in our Northlake, IL facility, hybrid schedule (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Support HR Business Partners in their day-to-day activities (e.g., employee first point of contact and intake, letters, presentations, headcount management tracking, invoice/expense management, updating organizational charts, file management, updating HR policies, etc.).
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms in a timely manner (e.g., emails, reports, policy inquiries, employee intake interaction, filing, returning calls and texts same day, etc..).
- Provide customer service that instills trust in KDP, and always maintain confidentiality.
- Research employee data in Workday, SAP, and Kronos, and generate ad hoc reports upon immediate request of management.
- Answer STD & FMLA inquiries and claims to ensure employees comply with all requirements.
- Assist in ensuring HR policies and practices are communicated and adhered to within the assigned business unit.
- Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies and practices.
- Support with performance management including maintaining and updating employee files.
- Assist with employee relations intake, investigative fact-finding and prepare responses.
- Assist with the management of small to medium special projects and perform other duties as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate activities related to KDP's New Employee Orientation Program.
- Coordinate and organize the logistics for training sessions.
- Travel may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, related field or professional experience equivalent
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex, dynamic and rapidly changing business environment
