A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COORDINATOR
- Manage incoming calls for Finance Department in a courteous and professional manner
- Resolve client and employee inquiries/complaints directly when possible, and when required, transfer calls to appropriate team member for resolution
- Monitor billing email inbox daily, and expedite billing corrections to appropriate team members, and follow-up to ensure completion
- Process corrections to invoices, client accounts, and re-bill as necessary
- Audit and maintain customer files for accuracy and completion, and report results to management for required follow-up
- Process customer credit card and ACH payments via phone
- Provide backup support to primary corporate Receptionist when required
- Review and sort caregiver timesheets as needed to be processed for billing/payroll
- Enter any current omitted or miscellaneous transactions to be billed and/or paid in the current week, including mileage, bonuses, patient co-pays, etc.
- Collect and submit invoices with additional documentation needed for processing via mail, email, and fax
- Upload pay data batches to payroll software for further processing
- Void, reissue, and process additional payroll checks as necessary
- Complete wage verifications, employee updates, and other activities related to payroll
- Input, track, and return employee garnishments
- Input, scan, and log daily check deposits
- Arrange delivery of payroll and other mail going to the branch offices
- Post/reconcile daily receivables payments
- Support other Finance responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Two years of relevant experience preferred
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong keyboarding skills and the ability to create meaningful data reports and manipulate data using Microsoft Office software; proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word required
