Experienced Bookkeeper/Office Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced, reliable full charge Bookkeeper to be responsible for accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), bank and credit card reconciliations, complex invoicing, financial reporting and general office administration duties. This is a full-time position.
Job Functions:
· The Bookkeeper position works closely within a team in a fast-paced work environment, must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills must also include proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Quickbooks.
· Must be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to interact with a variety of clients, vendors, banks, CPAs and personnel in a professional manner.
· Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail is a must.
- Responsible for A/R, A/P, payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, vendor & cash flow management.
- Must be able to handle preparation of complex client billing records.
- Must possess a keen attention to detail while maintaining data, organizing ledgers, and overseeing the storage of accounting records and other confidential information.
- Must be comfortable preparing correspondence.
- Must offer above average customer service skills, be detail oriented, value integrity and accountability and believe in a strong work ethic.
- Preparation of payroll documents, 1099, W-2, employee benefits, work comp, and medical insurance.
- Electronic file maintenance of documents and vendor files.
Qualifications/Education:

- Candidate should be professional, have a confident, can-do attitude, and out of the box thinking, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently as a member of a team. Prior experience working in a legal or related field a plus.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as professional phone/internet etiquette required.
