Position Description
- The Part time Bookkeeper will maintain accounting records for the company.
Responsibilities
- Handle all general bookkeeping duties.
- Worker’s Compensation payments.
- Accounts receivable management.
- Monitoring and reconciling specific location site transactions.
- Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions.
- Preparing and filing financial documents.
- Processing accounts receivables and accounts payables.
- Reconciling company accounts (bank accounts, credit card transactions, etc).
- Monitor and review credit card expenses.
- Billing/invoicing as needed.
- Back up to processing payroll and tracking payroll data.
- Annual budget creation.
- QuickBooks account maintenance.
Requirements:
- Adhere to APC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and training.
- 5-7 years of prior bookkeeping experience and knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Excel. Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Prior employment and business references.
- Some college preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- 10:00am – 5:00pm, the Part time bookkeeper will work in our Verona, NJ headquarters 4 days per week
