Overview:
Tri State Industrial located in Landing NJ is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to our management team and contribute to the efficient operation of our office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is skilled in bookkeeping and accounting, as there will be a focus on financial tasks such as payroll, account reconciliation, billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Duties:
- Perform double entry bookkeeping tasks, including debits and credits
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Maintain financial records and assist with corporate accounting tasks
- Process incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
Duties and Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Familiarity with payroll processes and procedures
- Proficiency in corporate accounting tasks
- Understanding of tax regulations and requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel, Outlook,Word processiing.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
