Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. This is a key role that requires strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Duties:
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- May need to be in office a few hours a week
- Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Bonded preferred
- Degree in Accounting
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and answering inquiries
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Quick Books)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
