We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and be proficient in various accounting tasks. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization.
```Duties```
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars
- Assist with financial tasks including budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Prepare and distribute reports as needed
- Conduct research and gather data for various projects
- Assist with special projects as assigned
```Requirements```
- Proficient in Quicken and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and financial concepts
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and governmental accounting is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or clerk is preferred
