The Assistant Property Manager is charged with the responsibility of and expected to follow the guidelines of being a support position for the Property Manager.
Position Summary:
- Assist the Property Manager in effectively managing the property.
- In the absence of the Property Manager, perform all basic duties of the Property Manager.
- Effectively operate office equipment.
- Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude to residents and prospects.
- Qualify prospective residents, verify application data, and show the model and/or available ready vacancies.
- Receive, record and assign maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized office.
- Keep manager informed of changes in the area which may affect occupancy, rent levels, marketing and the physical needs of the apartment community.
- Effective communication skills with manager, maintenance and current and prospective residents.
