A leading multi-family residential investment and property management is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at our community located in the Southwest Austin area. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining the financial records for the property and assisting the Property Manager with property operations. This position requires excellent skills in the management and motivation of people, the ability to communicate effectively with residents, prospects, and vendors and to present a positive, professional image.
In addition, the position requires the following:
BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for maintaining the physical and financial integrity of the property and maximizing the returns from the property in accordance with the owner’s objectives including leasing, collections, resident service, maintenance, reporting, and safety and legal compliance.
- Responsible for accurate reporting of resident ledgers and daily deposits.
- Responsible for late rent reminders, collecting delinquencies, evictions, lease renewals to ensure the property generates a satisfactory cash flow.
- Assists with various daily and month-end reports including receipt journals, monthly rent roll, delinquency report, etc.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing concepts and the ability to develop, implement and evaluate marketing plans to meet operational goals.
- Responsible for knowing the status of vacant units and inspection of all pre-leased apartments.
- Responsible for training and developing of all assigned personnel.
- Maintains a sound knowledge of the community including on-site maintenance requirements including experience with vendors and contractors.
- Provide leasing assistance.
- Oversees and directs all administrative duties in accordance with company policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a multi-family Assistant Property Manager position
Professional appearance and demeanor with strong customer service skills
Strong organization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency; OneSite experience a MUST
Valid driver’s license required
