Administrative Assistant/Insurance Account Coordinator - Surety Bond

You will assist the Account Executive or Account Representative with servicing, invoicing, and general administrative duties by processing work associated with contract surety or commercial surety unit. The Surety Account Coordinator will take direction from the AE with respect to the issuance of bonds, bid results and/or payment follow-up, producer financial filing duties, and other duties/special projects as requested.

What You Do:

• Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
• Ability to take direction from an AE/AM and execute the requested work in an efficient manner and reviews work for accuracy
• Prepares and executes bonds and other documents for delivery to the insured.
• Follows workflow with regard to bond execution, renewals, cancellations, and riders.
• Understands the elements of commercial surety new business broker. (i.e. what information to gather from the client; what information the surety will be required; and also rating of a commercial Surety Bond)
• Assists the AE with receivable collection including following for agency/direct bill receivables over 90 days.

What You'll Need:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and accurately.
• Have s strong skill set working with excel, Outlook, Word and Office 365
• Be willing to get an Insurance license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
