Administrative Assistant, Psychology

Essential Functions:

The psychology support staff will be mentored by licensed psychologists, report to Kingwood Branch Office Manager and perform tasks including but not limited to:

1. Learn the scoring of various assessment instruments

2. Assist in filling out Outpatient Treatment Requests (OTR’s) for the clinicians

• Track and process all OTR’s returned from insurance companies

3. Assist the clinicians in administering various assessment instruments

4. Assist at the front desk whenever it is required

5. Assist in faxing out OTR’s for the department

6. Weekly count of outstanding OTR’S that needs to be faxed out

7. Weekly inventory of various assessments and ordering

8. Any other duties as assigned by the line manager or the supervising clinician

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology

2. Prior administrative experience

3. Excellent computer skills, blind typing skills

4. Attention to details, punctuality

5. Strong interpersonal skills

6. High level of responsibility

7. Spanish is preferred
