JOB SUMMARY:
Consistently achieve Sales Growth Objectives and Business Driver goals through the effective management of all key activities within the accounts. Plan, organize and execute the sales and marketing activities of all brands in assigned accounts.
This postion will cover New Haven County and surrounding areas.
Core Job Functions
Achieve all the Sales Goals and Business Driver Objectives in the assigned accounts
Target to meet all the distribution and activity standards within the account
Manage all selling activities within the accounts to include order mgmt, merchandising, signage utilization, program execution, Staff training, promotional activity, Accounts Receivables
Key Accountabilities and Workstreams
Pre-plan sales calls and present new products and promotions to all buyers
Audit and maintain quality assurance (QA) standards for products
Manage Accounts Receivables to be within credit terms
Use all sales tools and resources for order entry and other sales related activities
Maintain current route list with current data and information
Use Data Driller for effective sales tracking
Educate customers with product information to assist with retail sales
Create wine lists and drink menus for accounts
Aggressively seek additional cooler placement, shelf space, and/or menu placements
Inform customers of new items, programs, and price increases
Actively participate in weekly sales meetings and sales events
Complete tracking forms as required by manager in a timely fashion
