As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Sales Representative to join our dedicated team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and actively seek out potential new clients through various means, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their shipping needs, providing excellent customer service, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Quoting and Rate Management: Provide accurate and competitive freight rate quotes to clients based on market conditions, carrier rates, and operational costs.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all necessary paperwork, contracts, and legal requirements are completed on time to facilitate the movement of freight legally and efficiently.
- Problem Solving: Resolve transportation-related problems, such as delays, damages, or route changes, in a proactive and timely manner to minimize disruption and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Seek opportunities to expand the company’s client base through interactive strategies and business development initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as operations and customer service to ensure seamless coordination of freight movement and exceptional service delivery.
- Continuous Improvements: Seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer service levels by identifying areas of improvement and implanting appropriate solutions.
- Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all business dealings.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years (preferred) of Freight Management (Broker) experience for highly competitive keyword groups, with deep knowledge of best practices and concepts
- Experience with a sales funnel and High level of customer satisfaction
