We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Control Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various production control tasks, including printing foundation reports, law tags, component and quilt tickets, and foam topper reports. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in yearly inventory activities, such as counting labels and performing data entry. The role requires a keen eye for accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties:
- Print foundation reports to facilitate the production process.
- Print law tags, count, sort, and attach labels to ensure accurate product identification.
- Print component and quilt tickets and staple them together according to piece numbers.
- Generate foam topper reports to support production planning.
- Conduct yearly inventory activities, including counting labels and performing data entry.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Maintain organized records of printed materials and inventory counts.
- Back Up Production Scheduler
- Utilize 10-key skills for efficient and accurate data entry.
Requirements :.
- Proven experience in a production control or similar role
- Proficiency in using printing equipment and related software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with 10-key data entry is a plus.
- Effective communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or associates degree is a plus.
Shift : 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday, potential for some OT
