We currently have an opening for a Full Time Administrative Assistant at our Salisbury, MD location.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and work with a team to reach our goals. The candidate would ideally also have fundamental sales and/or construction experience, accounting experience, and the ability to multi task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and be highly proficient in computer use.
The individual in this position must be able to provide administrative support in all facets of work, such as:
- Supports accounting, estimating, and field operations department
- Oversee deadlines and requirements for potential contracts
- Track bids and RFI's
- Demonstrate ability to improve processes
- Always uses judgment and common sense while maintaining emotional self-control
- Review emails and blueprints for applicable scopes
- Manage communications between contractors and subcontractors
- Use multiple software applications to aid in organizational efficiency
- Prepare proposals
- Track sales leads including calls on potential clients
- Follow up on current projects
- Support Accounting Department
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma required. Associates degree or higher in business, sales, construction, or related field preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to meet deadlines
