Responsibilities:
Payroll;
- Accuracy of hours; prevailing wage, private wage, travel time, shop time, vacation,
holiday, sick.
- Bi-weekly certified payroll filed timely.
- Bi-weekly payroll tax deposits paid timely.
- Bi-weekly pension deposits paid timely.
- Payroll tax accounts are reconciled, after each bi-weekly payroll.
- Pension account is reconciled, after each bi-weekly payroll.
- Quarterly payroll reports are filed timely; 941 and state.
- Annual payroll report is filed timely; 940
- Garnishments
- Ability to manage payroll services.
- Sound problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
Office Management Assistance;
- Enroll/dis-enroll new/terminated employees in benefit plans.
- Answer telephone
- Accounts Receivable assistance
- Bank and Credit Cards reconciliaion
- Assist project managers with permits, purchase orders, and other tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s or Associates degree with 3+ years of experience preferred.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of payroll experience is preferred.
- Experience with the following software, a plus
- Microsoft Office
- Intuit Quickbooks
- Google Workspace
- Ability to multi-task and work independently a must.
