Administrative Assistant

We are currently searching for a Microsoft-savvy Administrative Assistant with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Successful candidates will possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with careful attention to detail and be a natural self-starter. The right person for this position will be open to learning about Jewish religion, culture, and identity. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day, and you will enjoy a work environment of appreciation and camaraderie. We strongly believe in and are committed to work-life balance.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- 100% of this work is done onsite (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM)
- Professional administrative and clerical support for multiple departments
- Data entry, file maintenance, and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Answer multiple phone lines and monitor secure front entrance
- Replenish and maintain office and departmental supplies
- Oversee maintenance of office equipment including computers, phones, and other machines
- Respond to staff, member, visitor, and greater community inquiries and complaints
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails
- Liaison between staff and IT support
- Complete other departmental projects and tasks as needed
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications
- College degree preferred, or equivalent experience in administrative support
- 3+ years of hands-on administrative support
- Possess excellent computer skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Power Point and/or Access a plus
- Prioritize and track multiple tasks and both short and long-term projects with superb accuracy
- Possess exceptional customer service skills, and be able to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally
- Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
