Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides mental and behavioral health services as well as child welfare case management services for children, adolescents and adults, whose needs are extra ordinary. As a Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices and ensure timely payments of p-card and credit card purchases, vendors and stipends to foster care clients and caregivers, as well as performing other Finance duties as assigned. This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to review and validate information, and the ability to work quickly while multitasking and meeting deadlines.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for all facets of Accounts Payable. This includes preparation and coding of invoices, properly matching invoices to Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions and Requests for Funds, paying all invoices in a timely manner, researching issues with vendors directly affecting our ability to pay the invoices on time, and any other sound business practices related to Accounts Payable. This position is the Custodian of all Center charge cards for various merchants. He/She is also responsible for all phases of the Petty Cash Process and any other special projects as may be assigned from time to time.This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to review and validate information, and the ability to work quickly while multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.
Proficiant computer skills
Minimum of at least (2) years account payable experience
Valid TX DL mut be maintained
Must be 21 years of age or over
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
