What you will be doing:
- Enter ACCOUNTS PAYABLE invoices for Non-PO vendors.
- Distribute ACCOUNTS PAYABLE invoices to appropriate department personnel for approval.
- Print checks and match with back-up for scanning and mailing.
- Prepare and process 1099 forms at year end.
- Respond to vendor inquiries; research and resolve vendor issues.
- Scan ACCOUNTS PAYABLE checks, invoices, and backup into electronic filing system.
- Credit card processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will bring to the team:
- High School Diploma/GED;
- Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common vendor documents.
- Ability to communicate with vendors to resolve common inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to effectively present information to supervisor.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition and subtraction.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of most commonly used business systems and NAV software application in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes.
