Job Responsibilities -As a member of our team you will be reporting to the head of our accounting department. You will be primarily involved in supporting all functions of bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable and providing customer support and data entry. This will involve the use of software programs for all accounts receivable and payable.
· Handle customer service which includes communicating via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
- Manage Vendor and Service Providers payment process.
- Support front receptionist activities including mail and phone at peak periods.
- Interface with owners sales transactions through their title and escrow company.
- Maintain a hard and soft copy filing system for work performed.
- Data entry and records updates.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Take ownership of additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree is required and at least 4 years’ experience in bookkeeping.
- Previous experience in administrative or bookkeeping support a requirement.
- MS Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency is a requirement. Knowledge of Tops/Enumerate and AvidXchange/Strongroom preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Detail oriented, process-driven with the ability to follow-through on all tasks and assignments.
- Must be proactive and have the ability to work both independently and in a team atmosphere with supervision.
- Administrative skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- The right person has excellent listening skills, a highly professional demeanor, strong customer focus, impeccable organizational skills, and communicates well.
- Discreet and professional demeanor; displays sensitivity to confidential matters.
- Must have a helpful, "no task is too big or too small" attitude.
Compensation – Includes Health Insurance, Sick, Vacation, and Holiday Pay, 401(k) with company matching, $20 to $22 Hourly
