As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing all invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance department in various tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process, verify, and reconcile invoices for goods and services.
Prepare and perform payment runs in a timely manner.
Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to resolve inquiries.
Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Assist with month-end closing and prepare monthly reports.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records.
Assist with audits and ad-hoc projects as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in an account's payable role (if entry-level, adjust accordingly).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
