Village Fuel is a small, family-owned business that specializes in the production of high-quality, custom-made products for a variety of industries. We are currently looking for an Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team and help with our growth.
Job Description:
- Prepare journal entries and other financial documents
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Maintain financial records and reports
- Prepare reconciliations to general ledger accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university is required. Advanced degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance. Advanced degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks Online.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
