We are a boutique tax/Business Management firm looking for a responsible full-charge bookkeeper with Business Management experience to assist business managers and the tax team. We are a busy office yet always have a calm and confident environment. The partners are invested in mentoring and developing employees and building long-lasting relationships which is reflected in the longevity of our clients and employees alike. The candidate should be highly organized and able to multitask with ease. Their main tasks include managing client needs, QuickBooks data entry, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Our ideal candidate has experience as a full charge bookkeeper in a tax or Business Management office. You should be familiar with office software (e.g., MS Office), including word processors and spreadsheets, as well as both QuickBooks desktop and online versions.
This is a full time in office position with no flexibility for working remotely.
Basic Responsibilities / Qualifications
- · Clear communication and sharing of information among team member
- · Understanding of bank and investment statements for recording
- · Payroll entry
- · Review Financial Statements for partner approval
- · Reconciling bank statements
- · Understanding mortgage loans and liabilities for entry to QuickBooks
- · Understanding and recording assets
- · Processing Accounts Payables and maintaining a cash report weekly/monthly
- · Recording details and ability to understand information
- · Understand and create loan applications as needed
- · Maintain accurate books
- · Other related duties as assigned
- · Maintain Filing System both electronic and paper
