JOB DESCRIPTION:
1) Prepare the Daily Cash Position Report and other daily financial reports that may be needed by Management including monitoring of bank accounts for any needed fund transfers for multiple accounts.
2) Develop, prepare, and present all monthly financial reports (Profit and Loss; Balance Sheet, summarized for multiple companies) and other reports that may be needed by Management.
3) Prepare/plan for accruals, prepaid and amortization, recording journal entries, account reconciliation preparation (for bank, credit cards, accounts receivable and accounts payable)
4) Prepare /plan for intercompany accounts reconciliation, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
5) Prepare and analyze other financial information related to Balance sheet accounts income and expenses as may be requested and summarize, make conclusions and appropriate recommendations.
6) Monitor loan transactions, due dates, interest rates, loan requirements and any future action/plan that may be needed.
7) Prepare monthly analysis or as needed for utilities consumption, other financial information needed for CAM adjustments. The objective is to find opportunities for cost savings.
8) Maintain a filing system for bank accounts, credit cards, tenants and vendor accounts to ensure easy retrieval and expedite the reconciliation process as needed.
9) Check and test financial/internal controls and make recommendations/changes as needed.
10) Other duties or tasks that may be assigned by Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Ability to use sound business judgment and have strong analytical skills.

4) Self-motivated
5) Proficient in MSWord, Excel, use of Microsoft applications
6) Experience with QuickBooks
7) Experience with any other real estate property management software, a plus
EXPERIENCE:
1) Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
2) Proven experience as Controller. Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
