Our satellite office is looking for a legal Administrative Assistant to join on a part-time or full-time basis. All are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in worker’s compensation is highly desired, however, are willing to train the right candidate as well. Basic duties will include but are not limited to: answering the phone, maintaining attorney’s calendar, filing, creating and mailing subpoenas, trial preparation, etc.
Preference will be given to those with administrative/secretarial experience. Some experience in the legal industry and document management software is helpful but not required. Additional knowledge/skills/abilities:
Minimum Education Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent years of experience.
Technical Skills:
Experienced and skilled in computer systems in a windows and Microsoft-based environment.
Transcribing.
Ability to learn new software systems easily.
Communication Skills:
Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
Superior listening, oral and written skills.
