The Human Resources Representative is responsible for assisting in complex and specialized administrative tasks including reviewing job applications for prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports to support the daily operations of the HR department.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in maintaining all Human Resource files and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding tasks such as database mine in various boards to source qualified candidates, schedule screening interviews with recruiters, extend offer letters, review HireRight and/or primary source education and experience verification, and Reference Check Follow-ups.
• Assist with new employee pre-screening e.g., background checks
• Ensures compliance with employees i9's by performing the E-Verify process on new hires and rehires to ensure employment eligibility
• Assist the orientation team's activities - tracking new hires through various stages of the process. Extensive coordination with various internal departments to get the required data for successful onboarding.
• Provide support on other selected HR projects, programs, and initiatives as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Administrative Functions:
• Assist with maintaining departmental spreadsheets, and databases, helping with the coordination of department meetings and trainings, mailing, scanning, faxing, shredding, and filing
• Secures documents for audits that involve HR records as requested
• Review data for accuracy and appropriate audit application

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years experience working in a Human Resource function
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to define problems and tasks, collect data and establish facts, act and resolve issues
• Committed to and skilled in the principle of confidentiality
• Excellent reporting skills
• Experienced in maintaining records
Preferred Qualifications:
• BA with PHR, SPHR, and/or a Master's degree
• Experience with an applicant tracking system
