We are seeking a part time Human Resources support member to join our team. This is a temporary hourly position that we estimate will average approximately 40 hours per week. The role will collaborate closely with our Chief People Officer to oversee all aspects of people operations, with a primary focus on employee relations, benefits, and administration. Together with The People Team, you will play a vital role in fostering and upholding our "Always Be Vested" workplace culture and environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategic HR Management
- Develop and execute people initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive employee culture, focusing on development and engagement.
- Continuously review and update HR policies and programming to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources practices, processes, and state policies.
- Manage and implement annual updates to the employee handbook and ensure effective communication of policy changes.
Employee Relations and Development
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to employees below Senior Account Executive ("SAE") level, providing guidance and support on various employee relations matters.
- Oversee the Intern and Graduate Programs, including onboarding, and development initiatives.
- Address performance and disciplinary issues for employees below SAE level, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for Group Vested, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate new hires' schedules, including orientation and training activities in partnership with hiring managers.
- Work with the HR Admin/Coordinator to ensure timely updates of internal onboarding and offboarding documents, including personnel files.
- Conduct exit interviews for employees below SAE level to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Benefits and HR Administration
- Serve as a liaison with the PEO provider, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective management of employee benefits.
- Oversee benefit administration, including medical, dental, and vision support, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage the execution of Leave of Absence programs, providing guidance to employees and ensuring compliance with leave policies.
- Maintain accurate employee data and records in the HRIS system.
- Maintain the HR census/database for Group Vested, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain organizational charts to reflect the current structure of Group Vested.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in HR management or related roles.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks, even when facing competing deadlines.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Flexible and responsive, capable of adapting to changing business needs.
- Reliable team player with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Insperity or similar PEO platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of the global agency landscape is advantageous.
The Temporary Human Resources Support role is a temporary, hourly role that should average 35-40 hours per week.
