We provide opportunities to work across our national network. dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Human Resources Administator (Temp) to join our Inwood, NY team supporting the JFK Airport. Key Responsibilities: Assist with all internal HR Related inquiries or requests and administer and enforce HR policy and procedures and corporate policies and procedures.

You Will:We are seeking someone (Speaks Spanish highly preferred) to cover a maternity leave Full Time from May - October 1st.
- Manage and maintain time clock system for the unit.
- Track sick, holiday and vacation days.
- Assit with managing the payroll process including creating and maintaining payroll reports as required and requested.
- Recruit and prescreen job applicants.
- Complete background check and employment verification for job candidates.
- Administer employee orientations.
- Assist with the maintenance of employee benefits package, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and 401(k).
- Assist with the administration of new hire procedures; complete all necessary employment paperwork, issue locker, issue timecard, issue employee badges, issue uniform, process E-Verify.
- Assist with the resolution of employee insurance problems.
- Assist with the maintenance of employee files.
- Assist with the administration of random drug screening.
- Assit with providing weekly/monthly unit KPI reporting.
- Work closely with Director of Health & Safety and provide safety support initiatives for the unit.
- Perform additional human resource activities and assignments as directed by the HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
The salary for this position is $23.22 hourly with weekly pay, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
You Have:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or any related field perferred; Assocaites Degree with 3+ years experience or High School Diploma with 5+ years experience.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to use other Windows based programs.
- Fluent in English (Read, Write, Speak). Spanish highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi task, prioritize and have strong organizational skills is required.
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday, Full Time and one saturday a month

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Work environment:
The essential functions of this position are performed indoors. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud.
