The Payroll & Benefits Administrator is a Temporary Position lasting approximately 6-7 monthswith the possibility of extension.


What you'll do:

  • Payroll: Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls including but not limited to timesheets review, garnishments entries, off cycle payments and payroll reconciliation reporting. Providing training to our store leaders and managers on payroll time sheets processes. Investigate and resolve all payroll discrepancies. Supporting the rollout of our Time and Attendance system.
  • Benefits Support: Partner with our benefits provider, Bennie to support our employees with benefits inquiries, QLE, and leaves in Rippling. Point of contact for running monthly and quarterly benefits reporting and invoices.
  • Data Integrity: Run and Analyze ad-hoc reporting for system improvement and data accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance and stay up to date on federal, state, and local labor laws to make sure we're always one step ahead.
  • Keep employees up to date regarding any changes in the company's payroll and benefits structure
  • Track employee benefits eligibility, time/attendance, paid time off (Vacation, Sick, and Personal).
  • Collaborate with the People Team for payroll and benefits escalation.

What you'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator or a similar role
  • Experience with Rippling or similar payroll system required
  • Multistate payroll processing with a focus on hourly population
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, (ex: Pivot table, V-look up).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The proven ability to take initiative, think on your feet, and quickly make well-thought-out decisions
  • Leads with empathy, compassion and patience

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
