Surgery Scheduler

We are looking for a Surgery Scheduler to join our busy, talented and focused team. The Surgery Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling surgeries and pre-operative appointments, managing patient forms and insurance information, and creating and distributing surgical prep instructions. The ideal candidate for this position can multi-task effectively, meet deadlines, manage sensitive data and proactively communicate with the staff to ensure all patients are handled in a timely manner. This is a challenging and exciting position where the successful Surgery Scheduler will work directly with the surgeons to achieve smooth, efficient scheduling while also working closely with the admin staff to ensure the orderly flow of information between departments.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule surgical appointments for patients.
• Receive and screen calls from patients.
• Explain the scheduling process to patients.
• Make appointments with hospital staff and surgeons.
• Conduct administrative tasks related to scheduling.
• Schedule staff members for specific surgery days.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
