Senior Accountant

Our client in the agriculture industry is looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate has initiative to learn and improve outcomes. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.  Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
Responsibilities:

• Aid in monthly closings by preparing journal entries.

• Conduct trial balance analysis for multiple business units.

• Utilize tools such as GL Wand and Tableau to review and generate reports.

• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis.

• Ensure timely review and reconciliation of activities posted to cash and GL accounts.

• Review processes and procedures to enhance accounting systems and programs.

Qualifications:

• Understanding GAAP

• Strong attention to detail, delivering precise, error-free results.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.

• Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
