Job Description:
Join our team as a Pediatrics Surgery Scheduler. You'll help coordinate pediatric surgeries and ensure smooth operations at our Surgery Center.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule pediatric surgeries accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with healthcare team for smooth patient flow.
- Communicate with patients and families regarding surgery details.
- Obtain necessary authorizations and clearances.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with billing.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
- Participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to patient confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of scheduling or healthcare administration experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), Epic experience a plus.
